LOW-density polyethylene (LDPE)
Low-density polyethylene, LDPE, is also referred to as non-linear polyethylene.
Due to its low-density structure, non-linear polyethylene is, in general, less durable than its high-density cousin, but has a much lower production cost.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
Low-density polyethylene is also used in several areas.
Some of the main ones are:

- food containers
- work surfaces
- computer hardware parts
- plastic packaging
- milk and juice containers
